This report summarizes the research, analysis and service design process carried out in 2024 and 2025 within the framework of the LIFE heritageHOME project (2023–2026), which aims to develop an owner-centric integrated renovation service for the energy-efficient and sustainable renovation of culturally valuable residential buildings in Estonia. The report focuses on state level listed heritage dwellings but occasionally encompasses other culturally valuable residential buildings as well. In these historic structures, a balance must be sought between improving energy efficiency, improving the quality of the living environment, and preserving the values of the built heritage.
